got it everthing put together started reading through the manuel and it said to use fuel containing NO LESS THAN 18% OIL???
thats alot ive always used odonalds and i like it. my hurricane run good and cool with that.

my Q is for you guys with this os.18 what do you do about the extra 6% of oil needed? i think odonolds is 12 %

bro, i have been running odonells and byrons in my os .18 and havent had any problems, thats just os covering their *****e$ if there is a problem, just break it in rich and you'll be fine, i have had one of my os cvrx for a couple of years and have had no problems.

how many gallons of fuel you ran through it? i m wondering about the life expectancy of this thing, btw it sure looks sweet.

i dont know since i have alot of cars but they have been run hard and they start fine and work fine with plenty of compression.

its gonna be awhile, im gonna break this hting in real slow. i figure if i idle about 8 tanks though it and then slowly run another 5 though it i should be ok. then ill just take it easy for about 5 more tanks. then ill video a high speed run.

lol, thats some long break in, lol. 5 or 6 tanks in total is usually enough

ok ill idle 5 tanks, slow run 5 tanks, then 5 fairly fast. that should be done on thursday

idle 1 tank, run 5 more then start to tune bro, do 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, and one more 3/4 throttle on each tank after idle, with only 3 second bursts of throttle and then let off throttle, let cool between tanks with piston on the bottom of the stroke.

ok i idled 4 tanks with cool down 1/2 way through, then slow ran 3 tanks with cool down @ 1/2 tank. went to a huge parking lot ran it fairly hard 2tanks but no real wot for more than a second. last tank of the day slow idel 75 yrds wot 50yrs idle down and back them wot for 50 yrds. i havent even leaned htis thing out and it is 2 maybe 3 time stronger than the vx. wow, i hope it stays this way

wait till you lean it out, its a real good engine, and very reliable.

no kidding, it starts the 1st pull and will idle 4 ever, and real slow if you want. i just started it and walked back inside the 2nd tank ever ran though it

as far as rotary carbed engines with a side exhuast, nothing really beats the os .18 cvrx. Redcat danny put a .21 in his, he said he just had to redrill the engine mounts, i would suggest getting the os engine, i have like 4 of them and i am extremely happy with them.

i have been thinking of making a killer volcano, maybe when the weather breaks. nice engine though, 60mph should be no problem with that engine

Weather got nasty out here in CA yesterday but we should have a week good now but all we get is one day of rain and its back to 60 degree weather. I don't see how you guys stand it back there. I have lots of realitives in PA and its the same there guess its just a matter of where your raised but an old codger like me could never live in the north east. burrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr [:@] LOL
