RE: crashing sux!!!!!!!!
aluminum is good for surviving against crashes with plastic cars, but if you crash into a curb or something, the plastic car will probably survive better than the aluminum one because it can bounce back and is lighter

I've been jumping mine like crazy even with the new Pro-Line Dodge Ram body and haven't broken anything lately practice makes perfect I guess.
I don't have any aluminum upgrades but have plenty of plastic spares on-hand

RE: crashing sux!!!!!!!!
aluminum in the right places is good, like where the plastic parts would consistently snap ... one example is at the knuckles or something , taking the impact from a small place (the axle carrier bearings) and distributing it to a large place (the arms) , its the arms' job to flex, not the knuckles
well thats how i have my car built, anyway...
