Default OS.18 in a Tornado ?

Ok, I'm going to get a Tornado XL.... how much faster will my buggy be with the OS CV-R.18 ? I have one in my Maxx and it hauls pretty good... or is there a different motor that works better in this buggy ??

Will it be much faster top speed wise ?? I'm sure the acceleration would be awesome with that motor.....
whats the highest gearing I could get with the Tornado??

If you loose a few teeth on the bell gear you will have a ton of speed [:-]

you mean if you add a few teeth you will get more top end speed. it comes with a 16 tooth bell i think, put an 18 tooth or bigger if it will fit. the more teeth the faster it will go.

i wish you luck with that bro, you could give him a run for the money with an os .18 cvrx on a track because its 4x4 but onroad you really dont have a chance, i have clocked my jato at over 60mph with a radar gun
