That could be it. I always read about everyone breaking their clutch springs within the first few runs but mine never broke. I just wanted a tighter spring so i replaced it. anyway, I sanded down the clutch shoes and all is well, so I really appreciate all your help again ehroof! Later, Arlin.

When starting my tornado bb the tires want to spin right from take off and it seems to be in gear already with no nuetral. It wont start unless the tires are off the ground.

then the clutch spring is broken.

Can i replace them with a different name clutch spring like associated or something like that. this is for the tsnuami 1/10 truggy

traxxas 4146x, you can use the spring but not the shoes, they are too small, someone here said they used them and they worked, i tried and didnt like the way the shoe engaged.

here is a setup that has the shoes you can use along with the spring and its a real tough setup, i have used these with no problems
