Default radios

which is best?

http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...=LXJUZ5**&P=RF
or
http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...=LXENN0**&P=ML

and it only comes with one reciever,so can i just buy a crystal that match up to the freq and stick it in the stock tornado reciever and use the reicever that comes with the radio in the hurricane?
thanks

i like both of them I have both of them you only need one reciever ut you need two servos onr for steering one for throttle you could get this one with 2 servos
http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...I=LXJUZ4**&P=7
or
http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...I=LXENN0**&P=7
and just replace the entireradio system no need to upgrade and keep crappy electronics in it

You mite want to look for one with a metal gear servo for the steering because i heard the one in the hurricane has brass gears or something like that, and it likes to crap out on you, so you mite what to check that out with some of the people that have the hurricane.

if you are getting a radio for nitro vehicles, then FM is almost a must to have.

Airtonics is now exclusively sold by Global Hobby... so that leaves GPMD with Futaba's fake feeling radios.

Going cheap in this hobby gets you nowhere, except deeper into your wallet.

if your strictly a basher and dont race competively you dont need an FM I dont own A single fm radio other than the stock fm for my Mini LST and I have never had a problem with my am channels but some people do experience alot of intrference which is not good but I guess it all depends on were you run and how you run A nice FM radio is always a plus but not always necessary

thats kinda why i wanted to go AM, nobody uses that and there are only so many FM channels. i ve never had a major glitch that wasnt my fault with my crappy stocker radio.

personally for me with the ever increasing amount of nitro enthusiests around I reckon if you are going to upgrade your radio, go buy yourself a spektrum!! Seriously awesome radio system that is completely glitchless and crystal less. Future proof yourself and spend the bit extra and buy something thats going to last the distance.

The funny thing is, the Spektrum DX3 in the ebay ad only comes with 1 receiver. The DX3 comes with 2 receivers normally. For around 200 bucks, you can get an unmolested DX3.
I have one now and love it. No glitches or worrying about somone running the same frequency.
