The battery pack on the upgrade plate option is ment to go on the outside, the nicad set won't fit either.

Yep, you need to get a hump pack to put where your reciever is and put the reciever in the battery box... Or somewhere else!

Oh yeah, it looks killer!!![8D]

why in the hell would redcat do this?? If they made the alum top plate exactly same as the oem plastic plate this would not be an issue.

are you sure NO nicad pack will fit?? If I can find a small enough pack I can splice in the connector that is already on my AA pack to it..

Clearmont- can you shed more light on this? Thanks all for the kind words.

you can even put a hump back up next to the gas tank. They are not very big. I have a nice small one from ofna but I dont have the plate that you have.

This is how I set mine up w/ the aluminum upper plate, it's a wierd angle but you can see how I situated the battery, and I put the battery where you have the reciever box except I put it at 90 degrees I used some wire to hold the battery from falling out.

That's how I set mine up, used a zip tie to hold them in place works out good.

Trinity has a real small hump back that might even fit in there.

The way you have that setup is the way it is ment to be set up. What you need to do now is get some sticky velcro and put a piece on the frame and a piece on the battery pack or battery holder.
