Carbon fiber upgrades for that specific vehicle.

May or may not fit, depending on actual size. (servo deck/tray)

I highly doubt redcat would go to the Team VTX truggy style. Why? because all the dealers would have to update and hold a whole new truck, and all the parts to go with it. That's a lot of new hardware and parts.

Kemo, what kind of jerkoff calls someone out like that over spelling, are you that anal that you must include a shot demeaning someones good spirited post. Why not let it go, we all know what hes trying to say and are obviously aware that he is from the uk and does not have the mastery of the alphabet you do. michael does not deserve for some pompous fool to blatantly abase him.this forum is for fun, info ,and assistance. Not a place to judge others , i'm sorry to post this in this thread and i also am fully aware i am judging kemo, but only because i've been keen to his nature from other posts and it shows through clearly on this thread.

I've got more on it:

FEATURES
1.Four wheel drive system
2.Enhanced Suspension arm with adjustable width
3.High quality main and diff. gears
4.6061/T6 anodized aluminium radio tray and chassis
5.Solid universal joint cups/High quality ball
bearings complete
6.Dish wheel rims and extra large knobby off road
tires provide long service period.
7.Disc brake system provides quick brake response
8. Extra large leak proof fuel tank with spring loaded
fill cover and a long fuel pipe for quick re-fueling.
9. High flow duty foam air filter with anodized aluminum capped cover
10. Polished exhaust pipe and manifold
11. that same stupid clutchbell that eats up bearings!

Kemo, what the heck is wrong with you? It's the same truggy as the Team VTX, the part numbers are the same and match, I already compaired prices of parts with himoto and Team VTX, when we were deciding who to buy the truggies from. The drive shafts aren't weak, they fixed that problem alllloooonnngggg time ago. By the way, you can change the clutch bell for a normal one, been there done it already. Your over here bashing the car you say you race, I don't get it.

oh yeah, thats right, because its worth 40 dollars

But i guess $200 is unreasonable with over $100 of upgrades and carbon fiber already thrown into the car... thats a darn good price

yeah and its also got milled 7.5 parts, there aren't much of the soft OEM metals left. You are just upset because I didn't sell it for less than $50.

Well if it is that one, I can tell ya what Redcat car I'm not stocking. But I'm seriously hoping it's the same one as the Team VTX an Himoto, if not Oh well Team VTX stays. I like Hi at Team VTX anyway dude is funny as hell.

I'm starting to think it isn't the VTX style truggy, look CLOSER at the hub on that lil pic.
That bumper found on the VTX/HIMOTO truggy is absent.

Blue what are you talkign about, LOL [sm=spinnyeyes.gif]

I just sat here and looked alittle closer and I think you might be right Kemo, I didn't notice the bumper was missing, it looks like it has that Hurricane bumper thing. It will be too bad if it is the cheaper version of the truggy, cause the Team VTX/Himoto Truggy is a realy nice car.

well i'm glad you and I are able to argue sensibly.

I'm keeping my eye on it... because after looking at the pics of himoto and vtx at the similar angle clermont posted, it actually looks smaller than the pillow ball hub suspension.

i hear you on long days...

I'm ready for one right now. Workin 9p-6a tonite for a highschool lock in party at work. I work at dave and busters, keeping the games workin and alive. I then work 5p-1:30a later on thursday

and back to the truggy..
conveniently, hispeed says the truggy that i posted is due some time 2007. I suppose we'll have to wait for a bigger pic to confirm these assumptions!

Model # for the "hurricane" based truggy is as follows: 94085

They are all made by HSP of china you pick the specs and the power plant and other things and bada bing you have a truggy in your name. The VTX and the Himoto are the same thing just the Himoto has a go motor with a pull start and that's it. It is all from china HSP

Hey Eric you are right they are all made by HSP in China BUT that truggy is definately not the same one as the new ones that both Team Vertex and Himoto have recently released, Check these pics out. Clearly a very different but superior truggy in every respect. That monsoon just looks like an updated hurricane with longer arms making into a truggy. I know which one I'd prefer.

The carbon fiber servo tray will not fit the VTX and Himoto as they have the front servo laying down. And that one is using the same servo tray that goes on the torpeda and the redcat buggies

Any way it's looks like a good starter truggy for someone to get in to the hobbby, And they can go from there.
