Default Transmission messed up

The gears on my transmission are all torn up. My engine has been slipp away from the transmission so maybe that is the problem, but i only have 2 screws instead of 4 holding the engine in place. Or maybe the clutch isn't touching the gears right???

ALittle of both lol. You need all the screws holding it in place and also you need to mesh your gears correct or they will strip out fast.

you should be able to put paper in it and pull it out without ripping the paper. i usually just make sure there is a little play between the clutch bell and spur gear, not alot, just a little. you should be able to hold the spur and the clutch bell should have a little play in it while your holding the spur. too tight is no good, it will strip the gears, bind and cause more problems. too loose and the gears will strip

yes and use a little loctite on those engine screws! Otherwise they'll just keep dropping out.

Your gears are shot. Why would you keep running the car when it wont go. Your only making it worse.

well, how do you say "At this point what's the difference if he tears up the gears the rest of the way or not, there already shot. " without revving the engine, did you see the video he posted? did you see what he was doing? 3 people said dont do it and you said whats the difference, to me that means its ok, keep doing it. Bad advice bro, sorry but what else can i say.

I'm still not with you, no one ever said it was ok to rev the engine. I said was,"At this point what's the difference if he tears up the gears the rest of the way or not, there already shot." I don't see hey rev the engine up some more or whatever it is you were saying.

The way I look at it is if someone says its ok the gears are already messed up, then they are saying it is ok to run it. If you run it with gears that are stripping, then of course the motor will rev up.

Sorry bro, but you are wrong, many people took what he said for "exactly" what he said but how could we expect anything else from you seeing your signature. All i said was not to rev the engine without a load on it, 3 of us said it and he came back saying whats the difference. The difference is what we said, things will get worse if he keeps doing it, like a blown engine or snapped connection rod.

You can keep backing him up on his great advice.
