RE: NEW AVALANCHE is pretty HOT
heh, turns out its just a earthquake with a different body and wheels/tires. So why did it get a new name? its the same exact truck unless they used the same main chassis on the Monsoon.

RE: NEW AVALANCHE is pretty HOT
my point is that all that was done, is use an existing platform, and changed nothing but the wheels and a body and called it something new.... oh yeah they threw in a center diff instead of a slipper.
Now we have a "short" earthquake and a "longer" earthquake.

do you really think that vtx you have and that monsoon are that different, they are made in the same factory, side by side, whats the difference between the 2??? They are all based off a buggy platform? Whats the point?

oh, no, I have to interject here. The VTX truggy is nothing like the Mansoon, completelly diffrent plateform, much much better plateform. But as far as the idea about the Earthquake and the Avalanche, who gives a **** what plateform there built around, they both have there good points. No point in being a dream crusher Kemo.

RE: NEW AVALANCHE is pretty HOT
this convo is rapidly decending into the gutter.....
Not trying to arc anyone up but yeah I'd wait for some more pics peeps before rushing in on this new truck. It sure does look likes its got potential though. None of you spotted it did you? That avalanche has PBS steering!!! So its not the same as the Earthquake then since all that is the hurricane with a slipper clutch. So is it possible they've based it on the VTX/Himoto truggy and added a slipper clutch? Thats my 'educated' guess. If they have then what are they doing with that ugly monsoon. which is also a *******isation of the hurricane?
Kemo, well spotted!! Yes indeed those rear tyres are on backwards!! LOL oh dear Redcat...

RE: NEW AVALANCHE is pretty HOT
This thread should be deleted. It's getting stupid. Kemo, I like you man but your bashing something for no good reason other than bordom or something. And I don't see PBS either but who cares, the Earthquake and Hurricane are both good platforms. The only platforms that leave little to be desired are the 1/10th platforms, they need alot of work and tightening up.
