I personally dont think the pro is worth it, but people will argue that either way.

Exceed/Redcat/Himoto are all the exact same cars. But the SV pro is to heavy, I like aluminum, but there's way to much on it. SV is better for a beginner

If its in the right places aluminum is very good but I agree on the pro being to heavy in metal so I make them into Tsunami's that don't break, baring walls and cars and posts

Aluminum bends thats why they sell it as a upgrade! Would you rather have your part snap off and break when hitting jumps (depends on the jumps) or would you rather have is bend slightly? Aluminum can be bent back into shape, while plastic parts just break! Some plastic pieces will last longer then the aluminum ones. It all really comes down to budget and what you want the truck to look like! You can't go wrong either way!
