you need a single speed clutch bell and single speed trans:

i have this setup in one of my tornado xp's with a 15 tooth clutch bell, the 17 tooth bell would work fine.

the 2 speed is more simple and it seems like less problems, i like the single speed setup, has good power thruout the whole rpm range, the 2 speed turns into a pig a little when it hits second gear, almost like something is holding it back.

I think it is worth it, you can always keep the 2 speed and switch them back and forth, the single speed is good for hard running off road, the 2 speed is better for flat or flatter surfaces.

02126 I believe is for the electric cars. It should also be good for a single speed on the lightning. But havn't not tested it on one.

I am not personally a big fan of redcats 2 speed setup to be honest. Its just my opinion.

02126 is on sale and comes with a 42t spur gear.
05126 isn't on sale and comes with a 44t spur gear.

Both are for the Tornado's and lightning's. In know some people that have put them into the Volcano's and Tsunami's. But they are mainly for the Tornado and the Lightning.
