thats what i did to mine, its a road truggy though. i lowered it and put stiff oil in the shocks, with speedhog proline tires. its sweet and i havent broken anything except for a steering knuckle when i ran into a curb. the two speed is tranny is great if you keep it out of the dirt.

Hi how much ground clearance does your truggy have TORNADO and how are these buggies? They look tough but where can you find replacements and dont the shock towers bend? I was thinking about putting offset wheels with 1/8 buggy tires and 1/8 buggy shocks.

what do you want to do with it? i would recomend skip the 1/10 scale unless your just baseball field bashing or running in a parkinglot. the 1/8 are alot better on a track or over ruff grass like in your yard ect.
plus the 8th are tough as nails.

five inches with the beefy tires that i off road with.
ps i drive on tracks, short and tall in big, open grass, once in a while i put on the stock tires and ride the street, and i always try out for the redcat jumping contest.
