I've run it around a track with the old engine in it. It needs some diff fluid put in. I have never done it before, how hard is it and how does it go in. Is there a way with out having to pull out the diffs?

I did have 5-7-3 and it worked good but I just changed them to 10-30-3 to see what it does. Just curious. Will probably have tried it by friday, if not sunday for sure.

I need to get some shock bladders to suit the monsoon shockers. I can source them locally so im looking for an alternative. Anyone know of a different brand of shock bladders that will fit?
The Kyosho one on Amian look about right or the ones linked below.
Anyhelp with links or info would be great.
Fioroni 13mm Silicone Bladder (4)

RE: Redcats Monsoon Thread
Well I ran my monsoon last night at the avon park track again but they opened up the whole straightaway. Had the 12 tooth on it and it SCREEEAAAMMED!!! There were a couple of guy out there and when they saw that hit the straight and the same with my hurricane they all came up and asked me "what motor you got in that thing!" I said the stock one for REDCAT! SH28. They could not believe how fast it was.
The wheel spacers worked good to I can corner alot harder without the inside tires wanting to come up on me and the 10-30-3 diff fluid worked great. Tires did not balloon up at all and did not push in the turns.
I had my mantis out with axial .28RR also and the monsoon would walk all over it on the straights! I could not believe it. I thought my mantis had some top end, guess not!
Gotta love that 12 tooth!

RE: Redcats Monsoon Thread
well I've got about 5 tanks on the OS 30 and my steering servo has gone I think. Anyone know if the servos are O.K. with 6V. I make my own RX packs out of rechargable 2300mah AA's. but didn't think 6V would hurt. What are the spec on the steering servo looking for a new one to replace the one in there now.

If it is the stock steering servo you should consider yourself lucky it lasted that long! Just think you have to put a better servo on it and you would be good to go.

Here is a link to the hitec servo with 140 oz. One of the best for the price if you are not a serious racer or anything. I use one on my Hyper ST Pro.

Check out the torque on this one though if you never want to have any problems and you can get this one at the above site but you have to call him because it is not listed.
