Im in canada too, Just finished breaking in my volcano. The only reason for the higher nitro is to increase the engine temp..... regular nitro is fine as long as you run during a mild day (preferably warmer than -10) and wrap the bottom 1/3 of your cooling head with aluminum tape. Best thing is to use a temp gun to make sure you are reaching high enough break in temperatures. You dont need to cut out the body cause it helps keep the heat in (until spring). although a hole big enough for your temp gun might be convenient.

I am honestly not too sure sure, I think my buddy has the monster claw on his HPI mt-1.,I tried them on but the bolt does not stick out enough to thread the nylon nut on all the way. I thought it would just strip off.

The hex nut that the rims go on thats on your arms, you can change them if it wont fit that, so if you get them and dont fit let us know and we can help you find the right hex nut.

you will need 8 traxxass shocks just go on e bay you can find a good deal on the bottom of your traxxas shocks were the bolt hole is you need to file the plastic just a little to fit your lower arms but they work great.it will lift it a little my truck has savage shocks with a savage front end but you will gain like a inch
