make sure you charge the glow plug ignitor for 14 hours before you use it, if you did, take the glow plug out and put it in the ingnitor and make sure its glowing.

i would suggest taking the plug out and making sure its lighting up before you do anything else, just because its new doesnt mean its good. put a drop or two of fuel in the carb before you try to start it.

Did you prime the motor? I assume that you know about nitro since you said your other one is broken. Prime the motor, put glow starter on, turn trim up slightly on remote and start pulling. I have a set setting on my remote so when I first start my truck the idle is up a little and once started and warm I set the trim back to neutral.

sounds like it could be set too rich too, check the plug first, if its nice and bright orange then close the high speed needle snug and open 2 1/2 turns, put the low needle flush with the collar and make sure that the carb has a 1mm opening when the car and radio are on without giving any throttle.

I bought a Hurricane and the glow plug was dead brand new out of the box. Make sure it is glowing bright orange and the igniter is fully charged. Also, get gas to the carb (pull start engine with finger over exhaust) and richen the needles. A couple of drops of fuel in the carb and it should start. You may need to adjust the trim up slightly as suggested.

I am going to have to go with the glow plug on this one.. Did you check it yet?
My Tornado started right up after I set it up like the quick start guide said that i got it off the redcat website. We set my sons up i EXACTLY the same way.. pulled and pulled... nothing. it was the glow plug. Broken coil. Put a new plug in and.. BRAAAAAP!
