Default shock problem on tornado bb

i haven't used my tornado in a while. last time i used it i was doing huge jumps so i just went ad looked at the shock and all the bottom caps of the body were loose and on the 1 of the back shock almost all the way off.

the other back shock was off all the was along with the o-ring and shock oil all over the shock. now the o-ring and cap won't go back on so i can't put in more shock oil.

ok so it going to be a tight fit and also how do you take off the top of the shock to put in more oil? should i change the oil in all the shocks now and what weight schock oil should i use for jumping?

you unscrew the top cap, make sure the piston is at the bottom and put oil in it until your about 2 mm from the top, then slowly raise and lower the shock piston up and down to get rid of any air in them, fill to the top then put it back together. i would use a medium/heavy for jumping, like 80 weight. it really depends on what company you buy from but it could be 8, 80 or 8,000

there really arent any, there are tabs on the chassis that stop the a arms from going any lower, no matter what shocks you have they will stop in that same spot. the shocks that are in the bb's are good, they should be aluminum. that thicker oil should help you from bottoming out easily.

lol yeah you should maybe start saving up for a hurricane. Adjustable ALLUMINUM shocks, higher off the ground, longer arms, stronger turn buckles, and bigger tires. Sounds like what your want right!

avalanche bro, its a really nice truck, i am very impressed with it, very duable and powerful. i put some 2.2's on my buggy but it was just a pig, tires are too big for the gear ratio.

you have to really just lower the gearing, the sh.18 would be a bonus, lol.. the aftershock is a nice truck but its cheaper than the avalanche?
