recoil starter

Default recoil starter

i was trying to start my shock wave but it was to hard to pull. I was taking the starter off and a metal band came off how do i put it back in the starter case.

you have to coil it back up real tight and stick it back in there. its a task for the one i have not sure if my pull start is the same as yours. im pretty good at it now cause i had to do it a few times before i got it back in there.

i dont have a picture, just take the little metal strip and start coiling it back up between your index finger and your thumb. hold it tight or it will uncoil on you. when you got it really tight stick it back in there. or you can just buy a new one.
