RE: header???for the vx??
ok good think i'm gonna order it today. is it possible to port and polish the vx without screwing it up? i have ported and polished the exhaust ports on my 14.6 litre cummins in my kenworth, done it to my 455 big block in my 69 gto judge, and i did it to my 91 ford ranger with a 5.0 efi. but these little 2 stroke engines are beast of a different breed.lol i like the vx it seems to have plenty of power and my volcano seems to get up and go real good. but with so many projects, i think my wife would kill me if i start throwing even more money at one more engine.lol also does the tuned pipe make these motors any louder? it's a hot rodder and trucker thing. " loud pipes save lives". i can't be too old yet because it ain't too loud.

lol, some pipes make them louder, some are quiter. it really depends on the pipe. you can modify the sleeves but it take some knowhow and time and a dremel. do some research on the internet, you need to add "fangs" to the ports and round the sharp edges, also round the edges on the crank but you have to be careful, you dont want to unbalance the crank.

you can check: http://osengines.com/
that is an excellent engine, i am running 3 of them, killer engine.
also if you want, you can upgrade for less than $50 (using redcat engine replacement program) this is an excellent engine too :
