it seems most starter wands will work or a drill with a regual flat head bit, i dont know if that would work but i would suggest getting the sh one from redcat or a dealer so you know it will fit.

You can get the rotostart gun and backplate from RU faster.com for less then that gun alone, only 35.00 for the setup. You need to buy a battery and charger for any rotostart gun I have seen, so they are the same there. I just put one on my Volcano and a backplate on my Tsunami, and I think they are the best thing since sliced bread!! Both of my cars start up almosts instantly and with no effort. Here is a link to the gun on RU faster:

The same link has the battery and charger too!

i think thats for the .18 but email him and ask,

my suggestion is to get and use a pull start and if you want to use someting that starts electrically, get a bump box, one thing about rotostarts is that if the battery is dead, your not running. i dont like that. if you engine is tuned it will start in a couple of pulls and if you get the bump/starter box and the battery goes dead, just use the pull start since you can leave it on the engine.

lol, starter box, clermont has them, i dont know if they are on the site but email him if you dont see it.

its a box that the car sits on, you push down and a wheel catches the flywheel on the engine and starts it.

ALot of times you have to take the spacers out on the engine mount so the flywheel sits lower. Thats what we found to work the best.
