Do you understand how reatail and business work? You can't become a dealer just to get a "good price" on parts.

i know that. it just dosent tell you anything on the redcat site. theres no reason to become a dealer if you dont get any % off of a product. you wont make any money.

oh ya and that too, then you have to report your state taxes and fedral taxes on what you've sold and so on and so on till your all tangled up in redtape and don't know which way is up.

Just sign up on the site with appropriate info. I got dealer access a few hours later. I had plans on becoming a dealer but will have to postpone it for a few months.

Just having a family member with business license does not mean you will get approved as a dealer. We are looking for dealers with a real RC business that are dedicated to the sale of the Redcat brand. We already have over 400 dealers signed up and many of them signed up in the old days when we did not require all of this. We will be cleaning those dealers up over the next few months to make sure they are not only licensed to sell our products but have inventory in stock and are promoting it.

I currently have over 50 dealer applications that are not approved because they either have not provided proof they are a real business or they simply want to see what the dealer pricing is.

So, if you do not have a real business selling hobby products, chances are the application will not get approved.

Thanks

darin

I'd become a 1/5 scale dealer for Redcat, BUT I do not have the time to dedicate to being a reliable dealer. The whole business license, taxes and what not... along with trying to make something with your name requires a bit of work.
