RE: fuel economy
Your kidding....... right?? I mean the fuel economy of a nitro car??? That's like saying what's the fuel economy of the space shuttle. Sorry about that...it would depend on how you drive the car I guess(WOT vs. low/mid speed throttle opening).

RE: fuel economy
lol...funny ,i do understand your concern, but honestly when i'm driving these things, i'm having to much fun to worrie about it,but maybe it has a lot to do with how you have the idol set ,high uses more gas ,low uses less gas (i guess) that's how it is on my 1967 chevy impala. i'm sure someone on here will give you a better explanation, thats just my guess.

RE: fuel economy
think of it this way i have a volcano sv with a 75 cc fuel tank. i get about 10-15 mins of run time per tank. i have 5 tanks through my engine and i haven't burned a 1/4 of a gallon yet. it's close to it but it looks to me with these trucks it could be measured in oz per feet. it also depends on how much you run it too. as too how fast you go through fuel.

I've had a Hurricane for a month and for the last 3 weekends have run it pretty hard. That including break in of about 7 tanks and I have about a tad less than a half gallon left.
Gas usage does go up and down depending on needle settings (rich or lean) and throttle control, But it is too much fun for me to even worry about it[sm=tongue_smile.gif]

i have 2 hurricane's and love them, great power with the stock .28. only thing that has broke on mine is the fuel tank. have had one of them for 2 years.

RE: fuel economy
You ever stop and think that the guys making fuel for these things are at the top of the food chain Buy that fuel by the gallon and put a 290cc tank on it like my MMT has and you get time but no economy. I still haven't even finished my big block install on my Volcano but after thats done I'm going to figure a way to strap that 290cc tank to an Earthquake
