RE: Redcat order????
I ordered shocks from Redcat last week
I ordred Shock Absorber x 2
Partno: 08001
Should they have been:
Shocks for the tsunami and Volcano epx
Partno: 17704
according to their parts page both are listed?
http://www.redcatracing.com/parts_se...no=TSUNAMI+&q=
One more question
Can you install a front bumper off the Volcano onto the Tsunami?--if so what do you need, just the bumper, springs and mounts?
I have to take a picture of the snow covered mountain I climbed with my Tsunami Saturday-then came down it,hit a jump it it,rear tires landed and it did about 25 cart wheel rolls, then hit into a fence--OMG what abuse.
Bent bottom A arms and a shock, blew more of the body off, bent the froint of the chassis--all fixed
only thing really broke was a front axle---unbelievably built tough
I figured the bumper with springs would do me better-my grandson calls me a 'animal' with the Tsunami

its a direct fit, bumper spring and mounts.
i dont know what 17704 is or if different that 08001, 08001 are regular shocks and 08041 are aluminum shocks. I am a little lost on the difference but for .99 i would get the aluminum ones.

i honestly dont know, if you ordered 2 weeks ago i know they didnt start shipping until last monday (not yesterday) so they are for sure a few days behind since the move but it usually take about a week to get parts from redcatracing.com

How long is the wait on the wheels for the Tornado? I put my order in Friday, and I got an email saying they were on back order.

you can get rear green and front yellow, better than nothing and probably wouldnt look that bad (tornado)
