Can anyone point out exactly where these are so you can use a bump box to start the car? I cant seem to exactly pin point where they are! Thanx

in this model it is the square hole right in front of the engine screws were you would use a bump box on the flywheel the flywheel is purple on this model

Alright so I took out the 4 spacers for the drop and the screws stick out, I was told to grind these down but now another problem arose. What do you do about the back plate for the pull start too screw onto. Its big so it lifts the back end up? Also do the gears line up correctly?

hey bro, you need to get rid of the pullstart, you need a blank backplate, i wouldnt trust the mesh on an angle, i am pretty sure its this one but ask dennis before you order it: http://www.clermontmotorsports.com/s...k-plate/Detail

I just got a bump box for Christmas-love it--BUT I HAD to cut out the bottom of all the chassis so that the wheel of the bump box contacted the flywheel better.I used a Dremel tool with a cutter wheel on it
I will post a picture
BTW-I'm outside Middletown NY-maybe you can come over-lots of us here run RC's,lots of places to run and my son has a oval track in the back of his house
OK I'll post this, then the picture

I looked at all my cars and I have no spacers between the mounts and the engine

the 1/10ths dont have the spacers. He was talking about the hurricane.

Why I ask is that my DuraTrax bump box would not work on my 1/10's without me cutting out a little chassis on every car

RE: Spacers for the Flywheel?
Yeah I give up, iv messed around with this crap for too long. Im buying a new oem pull start and i gotta get a new engine mount with a screw. Not too mention the Air saver air filter and maybe a couple odds and ends. I cant figure out how im gonna use a bump box, we cut out around the flywheel and we did as much as possible and it didnt work and id like too keep my pull start.
