RE: fail safe
A fail safe and a throttle return spring is your best bet. The failsafe helps in loss of signal, a throttle return spring helps with loss of battery power.

RE: fail safe
Hey Eddie, do you run fail safes on all your Redcats?? Have you ever had a failsafe kick in and save the car?? I went to pick a couple up at the LHS and they talked me out of it. I figured I'd learn my lesson when I vaporize my first car.

yeah, i run them in most of my cars, definately worth it, the first time your car runs off you will wish you spent the few bucks and believe me, anyone in the hobby for a decent amount of time has had a car run off
