on mine the steering linkage is on top of the hub arm and on top of the servo arm that sticks out. here is a pic of mine.

I tried moving my linkage to the way yours is and it wont make the full turn because it will hit the Dif housing, so I moved it back down.

how far do you need it to turn? at full turn mine hits the housing to but that is turning pretty tight.

or put it how the other guys was, the end that hits the housing put it on the bottom and keep the other one at the top.
