It's easier to get it a little at a time then to come up with the whole thing at once.

The Cost alone is only HALF the story here. Its true that he could have purchased 2 cars for that price. But THINK of all the hands on experience he got Solving all the problems that went along with Doing this Mod! Great training. Cant put a price tag on That. He is now equipped to solve just about any problem he will ever encounter on a Nitro based RC.
Mac...If you were a Newb when you started.....you're a Veteran Now.
Congratulations.....

Thanks Red and yes I was a newbie in this, and one thing about me, I'm not the type of person that will get many different things, I like challenges, and when I believe in a product I will stick with that Product, Yes I had a few snits about the shipping issue's, but as we all can see I paid good money for ONE REDCAT Tsunami, I now call my $600.00 car, which what I would really love to get is the AVALANCHE XP which I will never be able to afford, because I cant come up with that kind of money in one whack, so I built me something I can be proud of, something I can say HEY I did this, I built this from the ground up.

Thanks Guys. As we all know we can only do with what we have and know what to do. This forum here Redcats has inspired me into transforming it over to a Tsunami, and as well the terrain that where I live sucks, and I needed something that would run good on rocks, red clay and hill's, and with what I had, a Tsunami was the only choice I had to convert to.

you say you dont have th e money to spend all at once. That makes sense, but if you saved up the money, used the car you had, used all the money you put into that car, you would now have the tsunami and the avalanche.
Other than that, you did a great job. I dont have the patience. I did just put a pro kit together and didn't pay someone or have a worker do it this time lol...

Here in Tennessee the town where I live there's nothing that pays over minimum wage, and where I work selling pool supplies is a seasonal job, I had to work on the side just to get the extra money for the conversion, there's no saving on a minimum wage pay. On one order I did make, as soon as I got the money I added it to my brothers pay now credit cards guess what as soon as I made the order over a weekend come Monday or Tuesday I get an email that my order was canceled, WHY because they didn't take out the money as soon as I made the order and My brother went and spent what Money was on the card, so I had to work that much more just to make up for that order and reordered it. We all have our stories and as I said before your post. As we all know we can only do with what we have and know what to do.
