Houston, We have a problem
I just recently bought a CVRX and on the box it says cvr but it still has a pull start and while i was trying to install the engine i encountored a gigantic problem. The carbeurator is a ball socket joint instead of the stock kind. Does anyone know what i can do?
Oh and if you guys dont know what im talking about im talking about the little stick that connects the carb. to the servo.

You would have to completely change how the brake, throttle linkage and servo works. Some carsit is possible but the servo on these is behind the engine and it wont work.

This is what you need. Not sure where to get it cheap. OS carbs arent cheap. You can use teh carb from your VX engine also.

Actually, I made a rotary to slide mod conversion for the Redcats so you can use a slide carb. Only problem is I didn't blue print it, LOL, I would have to put a slide carb in my sons truck and remake the mod.

yes, i gave rc danny the carb from the .12 cz that i had from a few years ago, single needle and its a direct fit but the carb opening on the .18 is the size of a big block, like the traxxas 2.5 or 3.3 carb opening.
