I think I have asked this before but the search tells me I'm incompitant . Is there an os .18 engine that is a fit for a volcano? I'm debating over an os and a sh.

you can get the sh.18 for less than $50 using the engine replacement program, its not as powerful as the os but its more powerful than the vx that comes stock

yeah that is the SH. 18 he is referring to, it will work

You can get it from redcat for under $50 with the engine replacement program

Sadly it's a himoto with a vtx engine and not a genuine redcat.

So......Buy an engine from a Redcat dealer(dont loose that receipt!). Then you will be in the Program when it comes time to replace it. $50 for an SH engine is hard to Beat!

thanks red...u just answered my question...I didnt know if u bought a used buggy then a new engine from redcat or a dealer if you could use the erp...
