Default Transmission (Diff) Help!

OK...I've had the Volcano for about a year now, and the most frustrating thing in the world is working on the transmission (Middle Differential). I have an aluminum upper plate on and that seems to make it even harder. Does anyone have any tips on how to make this easier?

ya, pull the engine and the rear end it amounts to about 8 total screws plus the 4 for the trans and it's out, takes about 5 minutes or less. also get a pair of forcepts to hold the drive shaft when you put it back together makes things so much easier.

Right on! Thank you...I swear the transmission probably flies through the air more out of the truck than in!!!

Well, I bought the diff and clutch bell kit from Clermont that works great, but in the bashing video that I submitted I stripped the gear. I also just bought new tires and wheels that are quite a bit bigger than the stocks, so I was putting the stock transmission in to see if I could get a little more low end (not sure if I do or not yet). Other than that, from time to time I take the truck apart to give it a good scrubbin'.
