The Traxxas shock would be to long for the BB here is a picture in comparison the smaller shock is from BB the larger shock is from a Tsunami which is the size of the Traxxas

tmaxx shocks are: 4 1/8 i.n length
tornado bb shocks are: 3 1/2 in. length
the tmaxx would work, just would compress the shocks a little more than 1/2 in. 5/8 to be exact.

Yeah I agree you can use them, but look here at facts with the Traxxas shock being longer then the BB, a Traxxas shock to your BB it will compress the shock down to the size of a BB shock which in turn gives you less shock travel, do to the size of the canister which is longer that will put more stress on your shock towers which will cause the towers to bend or break on a jump because of the less shock travel and longer canister.

LOL. This has Been done before........
Macannan went through this Whole process.
If you put 2.2 " rims n Tires on the Buggy it will be SLOOOW!
The Buggy TRANSMISION and GEARTRAIN was NOT Designed for Big Tires......
Ask Macannan....he can direct you to the Thread with ALL his Work on this Subject,,,, If you still decide you want to do it.
