We are working on a pretty big project. It will take 2-3 months to complete but will allow Redcat owners to do things and earn points. Points can be used to get things.

I don't want to elaborate as it a very extensive project and I know that many of our competitors like to view this site.

There will be points earned for certain things that you do or accomplish with a Redcat vehicle.

For example:
Upload a video to a video site
Upload pictures of your Redcats
Race in a local / regional event and place 1st, 2nd or third
Accomplish a task of some sort (we would put out challenges each week/month etc)

For all things associated with points, we of course want to show the world, through video, images, something you write that is posted online or whatever.

So, throw me some more ideas. The more the better as my goal is to make it so everyone can be part of this and not only those that are good racers will earn big points.

That is a cool idea. I think you have a good idea of what you are wanting to do, the main thing of course would be keeping track of everyones points. But as far as challenges every week or so, or doing something crazy with your vehicle are good ideas. I would definitely be up for challenges. You will definitely have to come up with ideas that will work for everyone like you were saying. Like me I don't have a track anywhere close enough for me to ever make it too, so I wouldn't be able to do that, but if there we other things then that would make it cool.

make someone jump a house w/ there car. If you go on youtube youll see like 1 video of a car doing that and it has like 200,000 hits. plus every video gets redone so total views is like 2,000,000 people and if they see that it says redcat youll have 2,000,000 people saying "redcat? i think ill look them up" and u will have 2,000,000 driving around there redcats and everyone will be happy
this whole points thing sounds SWEET as H E double hockey sticks. lol

I tried that one before. I asked anyone to try and top the house jump. I was even willing to pay for parts broken if the task was approved by me. I would love it and agree that that house jump has become very famous in the RC World. It would be hard to beat as he landed just right, 3 cameras used and drove off without any issues.

So topping it would be hard, but sure would be fun to watch the carnage.

You Might Make THAT ONE your Holy Grail. Offer a nice STANDING reward (Choice of any 1/8 Redcat vehicle for example) for the first APPROVED Successful Completion of that stunt. And throw in a little FAME for the winner too..... Make him/Her the OFFICIAL SpokesPerson for Redcat for a Month or Two. You Know....Picture on the WEBSITE, Interview on the Website, or Maybe a limited Sponsorship if they are a Racer........CUZ,,,Darin..You KNOW,,,, THAT sort of Advertising is Priceless.....

Yes totally. If someone wants to try and top it, you just need to email me your plan first. I will then approve it or let you know if we need to try something different as the goal is to better the house jump. If approved, we will work out something for parts that get broken. Simple as that. So email me directly if you want to try it. It has to be something really extraordinary to beat the house jump. Maybe a bigger house or you tell me.

there is 2 grain elevators side by side...close by...not real far apart but I thought it would be kewl to jump from one to the other..lol..got the idea when Dennis came up with this months compatition...but I dont have a camcorder so ohh well..lol...I think they are like 300 ft high...if u messed up ur car would be done..lol

Trying to top the house jump is definitely going to take some work. I am gonna see what I can come up with and try and do something with my Tornado. Maybe try to jump the interstate or something...lol

i have a 130 foot waterfall not to far from my house it has a island at the bottom would be cool to jump off the waterfall and land on the island! i know i could make it to the island but don't think i would be driving off

As it say's up top to get things build them up for the part you need or the motor you have been wanting or even a new Truck/Truggy/car

Hey Darin, what about a parking ramp to parking ramp jump. About 85 feet in the air. My issue is the insurance. If your willing to help, i would love to make it happen. I have all the cameras, the ramp, and all the people to make this work. The liability insurance is the only thing in our way. Im sure that my tornado xp can make the 65 foot jump. If you want pictures i would be glad to post them.
