RE: battery chargers???
you need something like a brain from mrc or something similar, usually with a digital display. even with these type of chargers you need to check out the settings since it can sometimes think that is a different pack and charge at a higher amperage setting. That charger will charge a hump pack, just need to select what your charging, for a digital display charger, you will be spending over $100 usually, drop him an email, he may have something in his store that is what your looking for.

Here is a charger that is quite universal. You can dial in the charing rate, and you can charge as few as 4 cells. Duratrax also has adapter plugs so you can charge your radio batteries while they are still in your radio, receiver packs and many more.

Traxxas TRA3030X TRX AC Power Peak Detecting Charger. This is the perfect complement to your Traxxas EZ-Start system or other on-board starting systems. It automatically fast charges 5-Cell NiMH or Nicad receiver packs in about an hour, and includes an adapter so you can also charger your 7.2V starter battery packs. It is very easy to use - just plug it in and start charging! The charger uses a peak detection system to automatically shut off when your battery is fully charged. This prevents damage to your battery that can occur from overcharging. It also ensures your battery is charged to peak capacity.

RE: battery chargers???
The traxxas charger is decent for hump packs, but it can only charge at a rate of 1 amp per hour. If you have a pack for your starter that is bigger than 3000mAh, it'll require about 3 hours or more to charge.

get this and it will charge everything and most of them automatically, you can charge 2 at a time also. or you can discharge one and charge another, well worth the money, i love mine: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXLCJ6&P=7

RE: battery chargers???
Looks like you got a deal. I think that for the every day person the 960 and 959 super brain chargers work perfectly. They charge the basic batteries they they would be using and are pretty cheap and very relialbe.
