2 out on the high needle and 4 to 4 1/2 out on the low needle is a good point

Hmmm I start all of my new engines out at 3 turns out for both needles. Make sure the carburator at idle is approximately a 1mm to 1.5mm wide opening. But as for final settings that can depend on the engine. For instance my SH.28 has a HSN setting of 2 1/2 turns out and the LSN setting is at 2 1/2. However my M26SS (.26) likes a 2 3/4 on the HSN and the LSN set at 2 3/4. Then to add even more engine confusion, the VX16 on my Lightning likes a 2 1/4 LSN setting and a whopping 3 1/4 setting on the HSN. Its funny but the VX16 likes a rich HSN but I can't get it to go any lower than 3 turns out, but it screams on a 3 1/8 turns out on the HSN. I do a 3 1/4 setting because I like doing high speed passes with it. FUN FUN

130*F is way to cold, you want to run that thing at 230. I think that may have been a typo cuz the eninge is barley running at 130.

I would say your best perfoemance will be seen at 210-230..

I had a SH28 and i could not tune the thing for the life of me. I also had a OS .12 that i could not tune at all. But my redcat tsunami tuned up very easy and help a good tune all day long.

So I took the carb off the V18 and put it on the os.12 and it ran like a champ.

So my point it, if you really cant get a good tune out of it, order a diffrent carb, or use the one that came with your vehicle.

Edit, unless u mean 130*C, wich is 266*F, wich is gettin a litle hot, I would not run that hot.

I agree with ENR_Kyle 130 is way too cold it's not going to break in the engine properly.
