Default Found the Grinding sound in the rear of the tornado bb

hey

i dont know if anyone elts has had this... geting a grinding sound from the Tranny and thought it was the spur gears or the diff... well it is not!

i found it! it is the pinion gear, the one from the rear dogbone throught that pinion gear then to the Diff... and that gear is warn down on my buggy... does anyone know what that part is?

the pinion gear... on the Diff... the one that is small and is held in by a "E" clip...

you got that right

mine are not broken they are worn off on one side so it is not makeing full contact. for the longist time i could not figure out what it was. i changed spurgears tightened up everything and lubed it all and still the same thing. but i overlooked that one thing and thought "That couldint be it" but i was wrong... so YAYAY now i can race good now!
