Default project "MUTT"

OK, it originally was a Tornado BB. I have began repairing my car using parts from 2 other chassis. So far it has parts from the Tornado on it, as well as parts from an Acme condor, and a Tsunami(I believe). I will post some pics tomorrow sometime of what all is different about it. I am basically going to turn this into a Custom RC. So far I have found ways to do things that are different, and cool.

Ok here is an update, since I haven't had a whole of time to work on it. I have gotten the front end rebuilt, with parts from the 2 other cars, and they actually work great together. I have taken some pics, but probably won't get them up till this weekend. All I have to now, is get the battery tray, tank, servos and motor back on and I should be good to go. Oh yeah, the only thing I should have to buy is a muffler.

If you have enough parts, use the front end from one car as the rear for your mutt Tornado. Then stick 4-wheel steering on it

So here is the update. I have had plenty of time to work on the "MUTT" now since I am on short term disability from work. I finally got the whole car back together, and everything seems to be good with it. I still need to buy a muffler for it, but for now I have gotten the broken one to hold. I am gonna try and run it tomorrow, and I will get some completed pics of the car up sometime tomorrow as well. In all the only original Tornado parts on the car are, front and rear diffs, motor, rear lower a-arms, wheels, battery tray, and I think that is about it. Everything else on the car came from the 2 parts cars I have. Can't wait to try her out.

find out how much it would be and I will see what I can do.

Things are really tight right now, so I would have to do a sneak job so the wife don't know. lol Let me know and I will see what I can do to get you the money for shipping.

OK, so I got the car fired up and everything seemed tuned ok. I went to run it, and it seemed as if the diffs were both locked up. I noticed that once I loosened up the wheels, it seem to be fine. Then after about 30 seconds of slow driving the rear diff completely locked up. I think I am just going to get rid of this car.

You have to be over-looking something. If you loosen your tires and it fixes the prob. It can't be too major. Maybe your wheel hexes are loose and you tire nuts are causing them to bind againts the knuckle when you tighten them down.

I didn't even think about checking that. I will check it out and see what I come up with. It will probably be a couple of days though.
