Default Clutch Bell?

I have the infinity .18 on my volcano. I took it off to replace the the clutch shoe and when I tried to remove the clutch bell it would not come off? Does anyone have any ideas on how to get the clutch bell off? And yes i have removed to screw and washers that hold it in place... Thanks -Ben

The bearings are seiezed on the shaft sounds like. If that's the case you ahve to pry the clutchbell off carfully from the bottom, either with two screw drivers or one and keep going around the bell so it tips back and forth as it works it';s way off.

Buy a battery terminal puller and slowly "pull" it off.

A big thanks to allaboutfun and boxhead! The bearings were sezied and the battery terminal puller worked flawless! I put the new clutch in and can't wait to run it and see what a difference it makes... Thanks again! -Ben

THat was a good idea, I hadn't ever thought of a battery terminal puller for the clutch bell, on the fly wheel yes, but never on the clutchbell. Nice thinking.

Your welcome glad you got it off.

Ben,

congrats on fixing it. Now go give 'er heck till something else breaks! J/K.

RC's are about as fun to work on as drive. So far I've driven mine A LOT more

than I've had to work on it.

If it wasn't for the guys on this forum, I wouldn't know anything about RC's.
