Problem with a Redcat replacement part?!?
I purchased a few replacement parts for my Tremor on your website and the clutch bell I bought from you has some serious problems. I wasn't needing the replacement clutch bell at the time. I was just getting another engine ready to drop in just in case the first one goes south. I noticed the clutch bell is not square(from bottom of bell to top of teeth) and just spinning the bell by hand on the crank causes some serious vibration problems. If I did use it as it is, the vibrations alone would destroy my engine mount, gears, chassis and other things.
Below are pictures of the clutch bell that I measured with my calipers. One side of the clutch bell is about .0115" taller than the other side.
My other problem is my right rear tire is facing inwards. I believe the lower sway arm is to blame for this or the rear shaft mount.
This won't stop me from buying any more Redcat products and I could just pay the $3.20 for the rear lower sway arms and/or $2.99 for the rear shaft mounts.
What do I need to do Redcat?
Thanks in advance,
JP

Your clutch problem I have no idea what to say but the tire problem just spin out your tie rods to straighten out the tire. If I understood you correctly it will work, and no new parts needed.

Which tremor do you have?
Which tremor do you have?
It was supposed to be the ATV, but mine came with the truck body installed and the new atv body still in the package.

The pitch in at the back is quite normal, it is made that way for traction in the rear on most RC's. Probably not needed to much on a Tremor but none the less its there. I'm sure you could modify it so it was straight but I doubt that it is necessary. [:-]
