how do i remove owb from SH28

Default how do i remove owb from SH28

noobie here and i dont know how to remove the oneway bearing on the SH28. so any info would be great

take the 4 screws out holding the pullstart on and you will see the owb.

when i pull off the roto start plate all i see is the starter shaft. the owb on the sh28 is internal. how would i clean an internal owb? and what else can i do to fix this issue

sorry forgot about that. You have to also remove the back plate and then you will find the OWB. Get some 120grit sandpaper and scratch up the pullstart shaft along its length, not around it. This give the OWB something to grip on to.

Make sure you wash the grit off realy good with WD-40 before you put it back together.
