fuel tank and lines
i have a volcano the out line of the fuel tanks nipple comes real close to the spur gear i have been to local shops to see if their is a 90 degree nip so it would have a turn and not be a problim any more seems no matter how i run the line and use any number of zip ties still rubs a hole in line not real fast or any thing like that just a pain to have to change line from a bad set up maby red cat should look in to a differnt tank with a out nip on the other end just a thought

RE: fuel tank and lines
i have a volcano and i dont have any problems the hose comes out of the tank and over the handle and this keeps the fuel line away from the spur gear and maybe you should try this and while youre at it you could try some punctuation and maybe some capatilization at the same time just a thought

hey uneze if you got the direct drive upgrade you wont have to worry about it rubbing. i have it and love it, better performance and no rubbing. you could maybe try to ghetto rig a cover for it or something

Uneze,
I like your replies.. LOL....well back to the post.
When I hade my Volcano i was having the same problem. The fuel line would come out of the tank and loop around and rub the spur gear.( this was a manufacture mess up) but the way i fixed it was take the tank out... and mount the tank on the top of the top plate.... and it was way out of the way of the spur gear. Check out some of the pics i had when i made this mod.... hope it helps you out...
