Noob seeking advice.............
I am new to RC cars. Been into airplanes for over 20 years now but never tried a car. I decided on getting a tornado S-30 as my first car. I am just wondering what the difference is between the S-30 and the BB models.
Thanks,
Steve

The Tornado S-30 has a better engine than the Tornado BB, an SH .18. SH engines are better than Vertex engines like the one the Tornado BB uses. The only other difference (I think!) is that the Tornado S-30 has an aluminum tuned exhaust and header that will add more power. For 20 dollars more I would get the S-30 with the Starter Kit as this is your first nitro car.

Yes, i am gonna get the S-30 but being as I am new to this aspect of the RC world, I really have no idea what I am talking about lol.... I imagine the glow starter I use on my airplanes and heli's will work but is there any special kinda starter that I need, or is it a pull starter or what?

The Tornado S-30 uses a pullstarter so all you need is 12 AA batteries (or 8 AAs and a 5-cell Hump pack such as this one: [link]http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXMEY1&P=7[/link] with a charger), some fuel, a glow plug wrench, and a glow plug igniter.
