Default RE: new engine back fire?

What do you mean it back fires. As far as I know these engines can't back fire, they either run or they don't. I've started and ran Hundreds of nitro engines and have yet to have one back fire. I've had them start and run in reverse in cold weather, but never back fire.

Did you put and exhaust gasket between the exhaust header and the engines? Are your Exhaust coupler zip ties good and tight? Is your pressure line for the fuel tank hooked up to the exhaust and the fuel tank?
