Default rear axle stub...how does it come out ?

last night i noticed that the left rear axle stub on my volcano is bent. i did bounce it off a tree yesterday while driving it, and it must have bent at that time.
it's not bent bad, just enough to make the left rear wheel wobble slightly if i turn it by hand.
so i just ordered a new set of axle stubs.
but, how do you get the stubs out to replace them?
do they just slide out after taking the big hex off, or are the pressed in ?
i haven't taken it apart yet, i'm just trying to get some idea of how easy / difficult it's going to be to replace it once i get the parts.
thanks.

hey pal,

you have to take wheel off, the spindle out, the wheel hex, the hex pin, and the ''stub'' will slide out by the inside of the spindle.
if its bend, it might be hard to take hard though...

as easy as that.

thanks!
i didn't know that there was a pin holding it in.
i did upgrade to the aluminum arms when i first got it, so i have had it apart slightly.
i didn't have to remove the axles stubs at that time.
the stub isn't bent that bad actually. i can probably run it as it is...the wheel SLIGHTLY wobbles. yes i took the wheel off to verify that it is the stub, and not the rim or tire that i see wobbling.
but...i'm like that.....if it's bent, it needs to be fixed.

nothing better then a properly mantained RC.
actually, maintenance is also part of the trill right!?

the actual pin i talk about does not hold the stub in place, its the wheel hex pin... but it have to be remove so the stub can go out.
you'll get it when you see it. very straight forward pal.

cool thanks.
i'm not new to r/c, but i am new to nitro.
i've had quite a few electric ones torn apart in my day.
yes, maintance is part of what keeps them alive and running good.
