RE: 2 speed trany
i heard that it will loose bottom end acceleration, but gain some top end.
every thread that i have read about this conversion, tells people not to do it.
they say that it will make the truck respond way different, and actually be slower.
you need a REALLY big area to get it to shift into second gear from what i have heard.

Ya if its an on road where it will be going full speed all the time it works great. But since your off road speeding up and slowing down it doesnt work that great. plus if you shift to second and your trying to keep your speed up in the rough terrain it might not have the power to keep goin in second

Those bumpers actually look like a bumper that i had on a volcano that i got from a guy on here. It was just bolted on under the chassis the the 4 screws that hold the diff cases on
By the way, it worked really really good. My gf was driving it in a park and drove too far away and lost control and it took off goin full speed. Went across the park, through the street, and nailed the curb on the other side. I ran up and the bumper broke. Thats it, it was just sittin there idling
