shock towers bending

Default shock towers bending

if i go off of a jump and i hit the gas too much it will land on the wing and then the shocktower bends
i was wondering if there is anything i can do to stop this

stop giving it gas while its in the air...lol.....you have control of your rc while its in the air...braking brings the nose down..throttle brings it up....also you dont want to be on the throttle when your landing on the tires it will strip the gears

i know that but ive just started jumping and i keep on bending my shock towers and i was wondering if there is stronger shock towers

which rc do you have>???....learning to control your rc while its in the air can be tuff....thing that seems to help me jump flat is to set up the rc to were the rear sits a bit lower then the front...just seems to work for me

There will be a vid posted soon to proove the shock towers are more than strong enoung.....it's how you land that matters

i have the tornado bb
the shock towers are not strong enough, my brother has a traxxas t maxx and he ran mine over on accident and they bent, i have bent mine 4 times in one day

When you straighten a bend out, it tends to be more acceptible to bending again. The metal does get weaker.

your pretty much stuck with stock or hsp (redcat) upgrades....I have the upgraded shock towers on a hsp 1/8th buggy and I like the regular stock shock towers better

Joey had a problem with his bending, he go the upgraded ones from redcat that are like twice as thick, and it totally eliminates the problem. Part numbers- 166022, 166023
