Default The new 1/8 brushless

In the "New In July" thread (which i don't seem to be able to find now), I thought I read that the new images and final prices would be up on the site on July 15th.

I was anxious to see what the final prices were going to be. And, I was interested to know if we have any pictures yet of the other 1/8 brushless vehicles, the backdraft and earthquake.

Check out this link every once in a while to see if the page gets updated... or, someone from redcat might pop in and announce the price (it happens!)

Are there specs for the lipo batteries? Are they the 5000 or 5200 mah that are already on the site, or are they smaller lipos like other dual lipo models?

Ok, I know this is a stupid question, but I noticed that dimnsions on the new 1/8 brushless...
Length 504mm
Width 305mm
Height 165mm

Are these measurements accurate? Because if so, then the 1/8 models are still a little smaller than the traxxas 1/10 brusless models.. here are the dimensions ffrom the 1/10 brusless slash...

Length 22.36 inches (568mm)
Front Track 11.65 inches (296mm)
Rear Track 11.65 inches (296mm)
Weight 76.2oz (2.16kg)
Height (overall) 8.425 inches (214mm)

The only reason this matters to me is because all of my friends are using traxxas prodcuts, and the reason I didn't buy a 1/10 vortex brushless was becuase it was sooo much smaller than the traxxas slash. I'm a little dissappointed to see that even the 1/8 aftershock is *still* smaller than the 10/10 slash. But, on the bright side, I guess it means that it's lighter, and the two lipos will make them faster.

The dimensions are correct on the Redcat 1/8 8E models but when they arrive, I will take a picture compared to a Traxxas Slash. The slash bumpers kind of skew the numbers a little bit as they extend from the front and rear a lot.
