List of Canadian Vendors?
Hey guys,
I am new to the forum, and to the hobby for that matter. A number of years ago I bought a Team Associated electric RTR, and never really got into the on road aspect. A few friends of mine also left the on-road scene and picked up some nitro rc trucks and are loving it. I would like to join them, and not spend a whole ton of money. After some research, Redcat seems to be the way to go.
I am having difficulty locating Canadian vendors though. Redcats website has a search thing, but it only searches about 100km from your own city that you enter. There is apparently none in the Toronto area, and I would rather buy out of province anyways so I only need to pay GST (and I dont feel like entering random cities until I find a vendor I like). I am trying to not purchase from over the border so I can avoid HST charges. I have emailed Redcat requesting a list, but I have yet to get one.
So I am wondering if there are any vendors outside of Ontario (that will ship to Ontario) that anyone would recommend. I have come across one (Nitro Speed RC), and am wondering if there are any others.

im not certain on this but redcat probly ships to canada theres some people that work for redcat on here quite often if you talk to them im sure they could work somthing out for ya. but i found this site http://yhst-90871347430291.stores.yahoo.net/index.html and they ship to canada.

Thanks for the response, but like I said, I would like to avoid purchasing from the USA so I dont get nailed with 13% HST when it comes over the border. If I buy out of province, but still in Canada, I will only need to pay 5% GST.

PJH is my LHS, and if you want a Monsoon, they'll get one for you. They're ordering fairly regulary from redcat, so I don't think the turnaround would be very long. Email them and ask.
They have a high demand for monster trucks, and so keep a large stock of those, but for whatever reason, buggies and truggies just aren't that popular in this area. I'll make no mention of pickup trucks with gunracks being found when certain lawns get mowed...

hello, We are in Barrie andnew to selling, westock several redcat products www.homeplayentertainment.com, sadly am aslo out of stock on the Monsoon, but then again so is Redcat

. As Squid noted... if we don't have what you need in stock then we order and our orders are pretty much weekly so we are usually only a week to 10 days (sometimes less) away from anything assuming the vendor has stock.Just shoot me a PM or email if you need more info.
