No, only time that you will have air bubles in the fuel line is when you are very low on gas. If you are not that low on fuel and have air bubles in the line you might have a hole in the fuel line.

bubbles ='s air leak....can be the fuel line, fuel tank, fuel tank lid o-ring or fuel filter (if equipped)...this will cause the engine to run at higher temps...
to check for the leak remove the line from the carb and the pipe...pinch off the end to the carb and blow through the other end and spray everything with soapy water...were it bubbles is were its leaking...if you cant see any bubbles snip a lil bit off the fuel line on the carb side (may be stretched out and not sealing good)
