Cool!! What's the "bind" cable do/for?? Is that so you can control the servos w/o broadcasting the signal over the air??

The bind cable is needed when you need to match the receiver to the remote. They come already bound/binded (not sure of the plural for this one lol). So you really don't need to use the bind cable at first. But lets say for some reason the remote and receiver are not talking to each other. You simply take the bind cable and put it on the receiver follow a few steps to bind it and your are done. You remove the bind cable and your done.

Same concept if you have one remote with a few cars. You can get multiple receivers (1 for each car) and use one remote. You would need to bind each receiver to the one remote. The whole process takes under 2 minutes and is very simple.

Hope that helps.

Haha found it, has trims and then dual rate for the steering. Im deffinitely going to pick this up, along with a few recievers. Only thing different between this and the tower one is the tower one uses 4 batteries instead of 8, but with the cash ill save ill buy some rechargeables.

I know it's a longshot, but can this radio be compatible with a spectrum/losi RX? I ask because I plan to get a losi micro crawler that has the esc and RX as one unit. The price and look of this radio is awesome but I don't want to get into buying 2 separate radio setups.
