Good luck and keep it coming.

Would look pretty much the same depending on the sheel colors. I also have a set of white Redcat Bacdraft wheels for another body I am painting for it. One will have an evil side while the other will be much brighter

Most of the upgraded parts showed up tonight. I am waiting on some others but very easy to bolt on. I will have the diffs (3) completed tomorrow and everything but the shell. Hope you stay in touch as this may be the SC to race with!

Note: someone mentioned the 17mm adapters would fit the "Monsoon"?? Does that mean the Monsoon comes stock with 12mm hubs??

Here are some pics - almost done - waiting on aluminum shock towers and suspension mounts and that it. The diffs are front-30wt center-50wt rear 10wt - wd40 on all suspension pins, loctight on all screws on aluminum. The 17mm wheel nuts work perfect. Sway bars installed, adjusted front and rear drive shafts so there is minimum slop. Shocks will have 40wt in front and 45wt in rear. Not sure on the body yet but thinking. Pictures of the shocks show the original and the Redcat upgraded. So far so good

Here are my last pics before I paint the shell. Yes the sway bars are a no brainer. They mount up very nice, but you have to buy 4x as they are very inexpensive but are sold 1 per bag. The aluminum shock towers I ordered should stay with the Bacdraft as they do not allow for the body mount holes. I installed the new shocks and showed how nice they are and aligned -I aligned them for the track... so when the weather gets a bit better. So far, its a nice sound truck. The shock towers bummed me out but that was the only thing so far and I actually ordered them from the Backdraft Option List . I have driven these and stock are a blast, I hope with my predictions on how this will handle I should be a contender on the track and a bonus bashing around! Its well worth the money!!

Zielke- Those towers should work fine on the Aftershock truck as we have them on the shop truck here, MPO-05 should have the holes for the body mounts. If you received a set that didn't let me know and you can return them to me and Ill get some sent out that do.

Hey Chris, sorry I had a brain glitch. I was just used to seeing al the holes for shock locations. Sorry about that, I have them mounted up with the suspension mounts too. Looks great and I have the arms staying level, looks killer! Just need to paint the shell and set the camber and finished! Too bad there is a blizzard warning here now

I will have pics up tonight. I did switch to the Redcat white dish wheels with a bit larger diameter and softer compound tirs. All I have left is to paint the shell.

The shell is a Jconcepts for the Slash. I did some more trimming and finished all the upgrades, just not enough time to paint the shell yet as I am trying to get all my customers shells painted by Monday. I will have it finished this weekend. Still pondering on the colors now that I have white wheels.

WHITE WHEELS???? N OOOOOOO!!! J/K.. Im sure it'll look sweet reguardless! I'd like to replicate the Rockstar Makita "Baja5T" like the one in the RCCar mag ads.. (Not much to it, but it looks cool..)

BAJA5T (Any idea if anyone evenmakes wheels & tires similar to these, in 17mm-1/8 scale??)

No more painting any logo's for me as I just got out of a lawsuit for painting a energy drink logo a few times and I get busted, but I see everyone else in the world is doing it on ebay and other forums! I have to stick with my own designs unless its for me or a gift they say. That product is no longer allowed in my house, I will stick with AMP.
