Default Broke my Earthqauke 8e..........................

Well just got the lipos charged and was having alot of fun with this thing!!!! still havn't haven't programed for 100% throttle and I hit a tree head on. broke the Front damper or frt chassis BS903-026, the Upper susp arm mount BS903-11 and the Upper deck FR BS803-11. totally my fault Sucks I have to pull it down. I wonder if they make alum or steel parts for those I would at least want that for the Frt Chassis BS 903-26.
Bummer I just need to stay away from trees....I was being good and my buddies where goading meon to GO FASTER!!!! I wonder what it would do with 11/1 lipos!!!!

You need sacrifice parts in the front. Else the shock would have broken other parts like motor mounts etc.[]
1/8 scale going around 30-35 mph = approx 240 mph in full scale car.

The esc is only good up to 4s(7.4 volts x 2). So running 6s(11.1 volts x 2) would ruin it.

Anyone?????????

It may be possible. Without pics it's kind of impossible for anyone to be able to tell.

I can take pics but thetop bodypics look like nothing has changed just that you can see on the underside the spur gear is rubbing the blue paint away on the alum chassis towards the front susp.

Have you removed the center diff and looked at it? Maybe the diff mount got damaged and the diff isn't seating correctly.

Yea, sounds like something is tweaked for sure.. Nice fix on the plastic welding though!  I'd take it apart and see if that center aluminum mount is tweaked.

Well I will today after doing a hack job putting it back together it ran great!!!! few cartwheels and flips (need a body now) it started makeing a grinding sound under hard accel. Everything went back together kinda hard so something is binding. I am still sick to my stomach about running it into a tree ................first 10 min this thing is crazy fast I just wasn't used to it.

Total newb here............. Got the parts, put it back together ran great except when I punched it was making a sound like the gear mesh was wrong but the spur gear was never hitting it was close enough to strip the paint off the chassis but that was not what was making the noise. The front diff gear or ring gear some of the teeth are cracked not totally gone but enough when I punch it the diff moves slightly and the pinion slips on those teeth. Guess this happend when I hit the tree. And the Spur is 49t and the pinion is 12t says so in the manual.

Is it new? the 8e series??? the spur gear mesh could be off. My problem was mesh but not the spur gear or even the spur gear hitting the chassis. When I hit that treeI did not realize that it cracked the front diff case and put it all back together and under hard accel the case would separate causing the gears in the diff to move thus shreding my ring gear. but all is well now and I am staying away from trees LOL.
